Debbie Harris

Debbie qualified with a first-class honours degree in BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy and went on to obtain a MSc in Advanced Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation. Debbie originally worked for Teesside Sports Injury Centre between 2007 and 2012 when she worked from both the University and Stokesley clinics, whilst also managing the business and working as a part time lecturer on the University’s undergraduate Sports Therapy programme. Debbie has in excess of 25 years’ experience working with athletes of all abilities and ages across a multitude of sports, including athletics, rugby union and league, football, cricket, archery, martial arts, powerlifting, netball, golf, water polo, tennis and kayaking. Debbie spent 22 years working with local rugby teams and was involved with Scottish Rugby’s development programme working with upcoming international rugby players.

Now employed by Teesside University to oversee all sport & exercise clinics and placements, we are very pleased that Debbie will also be available for limited appointments within Teesside University Sports Injury Centre.
